Decade of 90s and early 2000s was the time when life was simpler and people were relatively happier.
The rush of euphoria during every day’s evening golden hour is still fresh and blossoming in mind. Golden hour exist even today but Somehow that is out of people’s mind.
Just at the tick of 5:00 PM, the sense of evening euphoria used to kick in. Kids rushing to either play cricket or football or assembling on the roof to fly kites and parents getting set to enjoy other part of the day with family.
Harmony within family members prevailed at all together different level which may be surprising today to most of us. Family members had same imperfections as they have today. Then what changed? May be we all changed
The sources of happiness ranged from icecream cart bell, sudden trip to nearby park, winning a cricket match with your friends, a new hero cycle or an unexpected off in school.
Not to forget we have seen toughest times during these years. Wars, Natural Calamities, stock market scams, disturbed political state, most of the population living below means and much more. Times were difficult but our spirits were high. Rose higher and higher when we came out of struggles. We stood strong.
We all grew up to 30s and 40s today and almost living around what we dreamt of. A better life in terms of comfort, money, professional stability and touching luxury aspects at times.
Still it feels we left something behind. Something like golden hour sunshine.
Isnt it too long we felt it? Isnt it the time to go out and remember it once again? May be its time to start embracing the sunshine of the golden hour.
